Crypto Exchange Coinbase (COIN) Resumes Operations After 3-Hour Outage
Crypto exchange Coinbase (COIN) is back online after a three-hour outage that began at 4:15 am UTC.
The exchange was used again at 07:42 UTC, as per your status page. Site visitors previously received a “503 Service Temporarily Unavailable” message.
The exchange noticed the outage in a post on X, saying it was investigating the issue and working on a solution. “Your funds are safe,” he posted. A Coinbase spokesperson said the company had nothing to add.
According to the status page, some users may still experience failures when sending crypto or withdrawing fiat currency, marking the service as degraded.
Coinbase shares fell 1.7% in pre-market trading. The price of bitcoin (BTC) appears unaffected by the issue and is trading around $61,900, according to data from CoinDesk indicesdrop of less than 1% in 24 hours.
