An enterprise-focused version of OpenAI’s widely praised artificial intelligence technology, ChatGPT Enterprise, was introduced Monday. Nine months after its groundbreaking launch, ChatGPT saw a decline in user engagement, prompting this action. According to a recent blog post from OpenAI, their newest product, ChatGPT Enterprise, will offer business users an improved version of the chatbot with significant security and privacy improvements. This builds on knowledge gained from previous releases.

T-Mobile revealed it will lay off 5,000 workers, or 7% of its staff, over the next five weeks as part of the latest round of mass layoffs by large companies. In his letter to company employees, CEO Mike Sievert said the layoffs would have a significant effect on corporate and back-office positions that are “primarily duplicative” of other positions. Middle management levels will also be reduced with the releases. The company also plans to reduce spending on “external resources and workers,” the letter said. T-Mobile employees who deal with customers in retail and customer service on a daily basis, however, will not be affected by the layoffs.

The Rhode Island Currency Transmission License was granted to X on August 28 according to information shown on NMLS. The acquisition of this license represents a significant advancement in X’s mission to transform itself into a “cryptocurrency-friendly” platform. X has already made several attempts to integrate cryptocurrencies, such as allowing users to post non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as profile pictures and including a Bitcoin tipping option.
